Role Details

Under the direction of the Leader of Learning - Design and Technologies, the Design and Technology Maintenance Officer is responsible for the daily organisation of the Technology Centre.

This includes ensuring resources are well stocked, equipment is in working order, materials are prepped for student projects and support for student ‘in-class’ as requested by teaching staff and a strong knowledge of Safety, Risk and Compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in a similar role
• Broad range of handyman skills
• Knowledge of workshop practices
• Strong knowledge of Safety, Risk and Compliance practices
• Ability to design, construct and manage small projects
• Forklift license (desirable)
• IT skills familiar with a range of software packages (desirable)
