Job Description
Position: Design Co-ordination Engineer
Reporting To: Project Manager (PM)
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design co-ordination
- Experience in industrial structures is preferred
- PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) structures experience is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate between internal teams and external design consultants
- Review and manage civil and structural design drawings
- Identify, interpret, and resolve design conflicts
- Follow up with consultants to ensure timely design clarifications and resolutions
- Ensure designs are aligned with project execution requirements
- Maintain proper documentation and design records
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders for smooth coordination
- Report progress, issues, and updates regularly to the Project Manager
Skills Required
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to analyze and resolve design discrepancies
- Good understanding of PEB and industrial construction practices
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach
