The Role

We’re seeking a Director of Design, Core Product to lead design strategy and execution across the platform. This role owns the user experience for our most complex and mission-critical product areas, including CRM, Conversations, Calendars, Forms & Surveys, Quizzes, Domains, QR Codes, Webinars, Media Storage, Social Ads, Funnel & Email Builders, and other foundational capabilities.

This is a senior leadership role for a design leader who thrives in complexity, understands systems-heavy SaaS products, and can scale intuitive experiences across a broad and deeply interconnected product surface area.


What You’ll Own

- End-to-end design ownership for all core product features, including but not limited to:

- CRM and data-heavy workflows

- Conversations and omnichannel messaging experiences

- Calendar and scheduling systemsForms, surveys, and quizzes

- Domains, QR codes, and infrastructure-related tools

- Webinars and media storageSocial ads, funnel builders, and email builders

- The design vision, principles, and UX strategy for core platform

- A portfolio of design teams responsible for complex, cross-cutting product areas

- Design quality, usability, and consistency across the entire core product ecosystem


Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of senior product designers across multiple core domains

- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define long-term strategy, roadmap priorities, and architectural decisions

- Drive clarity and simplicity across complex workflows and feature-rich interfaces

- Establish design standards, patterns, and systems that scale across teams and features

- Balance depth and flexibility for power users with usability and approachability for new users

- Champion user-centered design while navigating technical constraints and platform complexity

- Ensure design decisions are informed by user research, data, and real-world usage

- Represent design at the executive level and contribute to broader product leadership discussions


What We’re Looking For

- 12+ years of experience in product design for B2B2C and/or SaaS platforms

- Extensive experience designing and scaling CRM or similarly complex, data-heavy systems

- 5+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing design teams

- Strong systems thinking and experience designing interconnected product ecosystems

- Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and complexity

- Deep understanding of enterprise and mid-market SaaS user needs

- Strong collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional leaders

- Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive-level presentation skills


Nice to Have

- Experience with agency platforms, marketing automation tools, or CRM ecosystems

- Experience building or scaling design systems for large SaaS products

- Experience working in remote-first or distributed teams
