About the Role

Do you have a Mechanical trade qualification, tertiary qualification in drafting or experience as a design drafter to join Hastings Deering, one of the leading global Caterpillar dealers in this exciting opportunity.

This permanent, full time position will see you develop quality designs, assembly drawings and corresponding manufacturing as well as leaning on your expertise to investigate and recommend design modifications and engineering solutions for CAT Equipment.

In this dynamic role, your key responsibilities will include :

• Design a diverse range of mechanical solutions alongside our customers.
• Collaborate with workshop teams to assist with delivery of customer solutions.
• Take the lead on design related risk assessments.
