Role- Draughtsman/Design Engineer

Salary- £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Type- Permanent

Location- Walsall

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Walsall on a permanent basis.

The Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• 1 year or more of experience in a similar Design / Mechanical / Project Engineering position
• Strong organisation, client facing and project management skills
• Experience working in automotive design or similar would be beneficial
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD
• Knowledge of a sheet metal, injection moulded plastics, welding, fabrication, castings etc.
• Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Proven ability to drive Engineering development
