Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Design and develop bumper systems using Catia/Unigraphics (NX) CAD tools.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for bumper components.
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, testing) to deliver optimized solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance analysis, and design validation.
- Support prototype development and testing activities.
- Review and update designs based on feedback from stakeholders and test results.
- Maintain documentation of design processes, revisions, and approvals.

Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in automotive bumper design.
- Strong proficiency in Catia V5 and Unigraphics (NX) CAD software.
- Knowledge of plastic and sheet metal design principles.
- Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and DFMEA.
- Understanding of automotive safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to perform design validation and support testing activities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
