Job Description: AutoCAD Designer Draugftman – Partitions & MEP
Location: IMT- Faridabad
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years (Design + Project Coordination)

Education Diploma / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related field preferred

Role Overview
Our Client is looking for a technically strong AutoCAD Designer with hands-on experience in 2D layout design for partitions and MEP services.
The role requires a blend of design accuracy, technical understanding, and project coordination,
with the ability to participate in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and internal teams when required.
This is not a pure drafting role — the candidate is expected to understand site conditions, constructability, services coordination, and execution realities.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Drafting
Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for:
Modular / glass / PUF partition layouts
Floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
MEP layouts. 
Develop shop drawings based on:
Architectural drawings, Client inputs, Site conditions and execution constraints.
Modify and revise drawings based on client feedback, site changes, and coordination meetings. 
MEP & Technical Coordination
Coordinate partition layouts with HVAC, electrical, fire, and plumbing services
Identify clashes and propose practical design solutions
Ensure drawings are aligned with project specifications, BOQs, and standards
Project Support & Management
Support project managers with:
Drawing schedules, Design approvals, As-built documentation. 
Maintain proper version control and documentation.
Assist in quantity take-offs where required
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
Participate in technical discussions with clients, architects, consultants, and site teams
Explain drawings, technical details, and design intent clearly and confidently
Act as a technical interface between design, sales, and execution teams.
Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills
Strong command over AutoCAD (2D) – mandatory
Sound understanding of:
Partition systems (glass / modular / PUF preferred)
Basic MEP concepts and coordination
Construction drawings and execution practices
Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
Knowledge of industry standards, tolerances, and detailing.

Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Organized, disciplined, and deadline-oriented

Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in:
AutoCAD-based design
Project coordination or project management support
Experience in interiors, partitions, MEP coordination, or hospital/industrial projects is a strong plus.
Diploma / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related field preferred
