Job Description

  • Concept to Design and Design calculations based on Scope of Technical Requirements 
  • Develop Schemes for electrical / electronic sub-assemblies
  • Generation of associated manufacturing drawings (design for manufacturing)
  • Review and Validate design of bought out electrical sub-systems as per specification 
  • Generation of Harness drawings including layout as per Industry Standards
  • Working on 3D CAD environment for electrical components, harnesses and enclosures
  • Support testing of manufactured assemblies for design validation
  • Proposal engineering (technical proposal)
  • Technical co-ordination with internal and external stake holders, including approvals from customer

    • Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Design of Electronics/ Electrical modules/ sub-assemblies (not PCB designing)
  • Very good understanding of electrical/ electronic schemes
  • Proficiency in MIL Standards
  • Understanding of EMI EMC and Environmental qualifications standards
  • Proficiency in ECAD (preferable Zukhen E3) and understanding of 3D CAD tools (Solid Works, UG Nx)
  • Strong communication and project management
