STS Aerospace is looking for a Design Engineer that will be responsible for designing of all fixturing and tooling needed by the organization to manufacture assembly and inspect product.
- Defining manufacturing methodology with design, manufacturing and process engineers
- Write & edit special process procedures, operating instructions
- Submit technical documents to quality for approval
- Technical support for all personnel
- Continuous Improvement of the process and documentation
- Working with Project management on New Product Development
- Working with tool room and machine shop
- Receives input from manufacturing, process, method and manufacturing engineering
- Rewrite or editing of documentation to capture changes in manufacturing method
- Interpretation of customer specifications
- Mistake Proofing
- Creation of drawings for toolroom and machine shop
