Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical design process for new product development initiatives, including concept generation, detailed design, prototyping, testing, and validation.

• Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.

• Conduct engineering analyses such as stress analysis, thermal analysis, and tolerance stack up to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical, software, and other subsystems, ensuring seamless system integration.

• Perform design reviews to solicit feedback, identify risks, and optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.

• Generate technical documentation, including design specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and test plans, to support manufacturing and assembly processes.
