Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Developing Design and detail engineering.
• Preparing the machine layouts with feedback elements and actuators like pneumatics, electrical and hydraulics.
• Preparing the detail engineering. Know the Design standards ISO, IS, EN etc.
• Participate in departmental strategic planning and design review.
• To work in the team and develop designs as per the schedules.
• Knowledge in electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Preparation of documentation files
• Follow the safety in Design, proficiency in Risk Assessment, FMEA, RCA, etc.
• Proficiency in design software: Solid works, Auto desk inventor

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical
• Mechanical engineer with machine building experience [Machine tool design, SPM, Material handling, conveying equipment, Packaging m/c building]. Experience in in-plant automation equipment building is desired.
• Requires a thorough understand of technical, regulatory, and commercial issues as well as pure design considerations.
• Proficient with the engineering calculations of the stress and strains of mechanical members based on various load conditions. Cycle time calculations, Motor Power calculations, creative; good oral and written skills in English
• Hands on work experience in 3D modelling and designing in Solid Work, and Auto-CAD [2D and 3D] drafting, prefer experience in Automation industries, who are supplying to automobile sector, Packaging Industry.
