Job Summary
The Mechanical Design Engineer - II independently develops engineering designs and manufacturing drawings for oil & gas flow control and pressure-containing equipment. The role requires strong CAD skills, knowledge of industry standards, and the ability to execute engineering tasks with limited supervision while supporting junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor in accordance with company and industry standards.
Prepare fabrication, assembly, and GA drawings along with BOMs for complex components and assemblies.
Apply GD&T, tolerances, and fit requirements to ensure manufacturability and functional performance.
Support product design for at least one of the following standards and product lines: API 6A, API 16A, or API 16C equipment, including valves, choke manifolds, wellhead equipment, or pressure-containing equipment.
