Job Description
Responsibilities
+ Design and model large sheet metal enclosures.
+ Detail and work with the production floor until release.
+ Create the Bill of Materials.
+ Assess the usability, environmental impact, and safety of designs.
+ Calculate and simulate stress tests, tolerances, and trajectories.
+ Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to integrate and enhance product specifications.
+ Prototype and modify designs based on trial runs and feedback.
+ Run individual projects independently.
+ Maintain constant communication with vendors and customers regarding project completion.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Solidworks and/or 3D AutoCAD.
+ 1+ years of experience in design engineering.
+ Experience with sheet metal, motors, drives, or pneumatics is highly preferred.
+ Ability to independently manage projects.
