Designation: ELPS Design Engineer – External Lightning Protection System (LPS)
Location: Okhla, New Delhi
Experience: 3 to 5 Years
Budget: 6 - 9 LPA + variable
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ELPS Design Engineer to support the design and engineering of External Lightning Protection Systems (LPS). The role involves standards-compliant design, coordination with cross-functional teams, site inspections, and preparation of final project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design External Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) in compliance with Indian and international standards (IEC / IS and relevant codes)
Prepare detailed engineering drawings using Auto CAD, Solid Works, NX , or equivalent design software
Interpret design requirements and perform quantity take-offs
Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
Conduct site visits and inspections and support execution teams
Prepare and review As-Built and As-Wired drawings upon project completion
Coordinate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders
Stay updated with the latest revisions of applicable standards and incorporate them into design practices
Contribute to value engineering , innovative design approaches, and development of competitive technical solutions
Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of External LPS design principles and standards
Proficiency in engineering design tools and documentation
Good communication and coordination skills
Attention to detail and commitment to quality engineering
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines
