Tech in Mechanical/Production/ Automotive EngineeringJob Description / Roles & Responsibilities:•Candidate will be part of Pow ertrain teams as a full time Design Engineer. •Responsible for CAD deliveries of commodities – (minimum one of the below):•Fuel systems: tanks, lines, evaporative systems, urea systems.•Cooling systems: hoses, heat exchangers, fan shrouds, Degas Tank.•Exha ust systems: after-treatment (EU6/EU7), hot end, cold end.•Air intake systems: dirty air ducts, air boxes, clean air ducts, engine covers.•Liaise with various stakeholders and provide end to end delivery solutions. •Should have a good understanding of vehicl e package guideline. •Sound knowledge of Plastic and Sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes is required. W HAT YOU NEED:•Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of Powertrain System commodities. •Support/Lead Design review s and design changes respecting feasibility and timeline •Timely CAD completion for S/T/P releases•Understanding of commodity re lease & change management •Understanding of Proto & Production BOM •Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills. •Exposure t o PLM tools such as 3Dx, TeamCenter. •GD&T knowledge is a must. •Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerP oint, etc.
