Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and model large sheet metal enclosures.
  • Detail and work with the production floor until release.
  • Create the Bill of Materials.
  • Assess the usability, environmental impact, and safety of designs.
  • Calculate and simulate stress tests, tolerances, and trajectories.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to integrate and enhance product specifications.
  • Prototype and modify designs based on trial runs and feedback.
  • Run individual projects independently.
  • Maintain constant communication with vendors and customers regarding project completion.

    • Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Solidworks and/or 3D AutoCAD.
  • 1+ years of experience in design engineering.
  • Experience with sheet metal, motors, drives, or pneumatics is highly preferred.
  • Ability to independently manage projects.
