Role details:

  • Title / Designation: Design Engineer – Transmission Line
  • Location: Chennai, India .
  • Work Mode: 5 days WFO

    • Role & responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze transmission line towers, foundations, and related structures, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
  • Perform tower profiling, route engineering, and alignment studies, including surveys and feasibility assessments.
  • Prepare and validate profiles, sag–tension charts, design calculations, and technical documents.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, layouts, and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering outputs on time.
  • Ensure all designs meet required safety, quality, and industry standards.

    • Candidate requirements:

  • 3–7 years of experience in Transmission Line Design. Expert proficiency in PLS-CADD for transmission line modeling and analysis. Strong technical understanding of route selection, tower profiling, structural design, and foundation systems. Knowledge of applicable transmission line codes, standards, and engineering practices. Strong analytical and problsem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation. Good communication and teamwork skills for smooth project coordination.
