Design & Execution Engineer

Role Overview:

• Assist in designing, planning, and executing rooftop solar PV projects
• Prepare detailed engineering documents and ensure on-site project execution as per standards
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams for smooth project delivery
• Ensure technical accuracy, safety, quality, and timely completion of solar projects

Key Responsibilities

(a) Design Responsibilities:

• Prepare solar PV system sizing, layouts, GA drawings, and SLDs
• Conduct shadow analysis, feasibility assessment & generation estimation
• Prepare BOQ, cable sizing, load calculations & project engineering documents
• Coordinate with procurement for technical specifications & material selection
• Support site teams with technical clarifications and as-built drawings

(b)Execution Responsibilities :

• Supervise site installation of modules, MMS, inverters & AC/DC cabling
• Manage site workforce, contractors & material flow
• Ensure quality checks, safety compliance & adherence to design specifications
• Resolve on-site technical issues with support from design team
• Conduct testing, commissioning & client handover
• Maintain site reports, checklists & documentation

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of solar PV systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (SLD, layout, GA, etc.)
• Knowledge of PVsyst / Helioscope / AutoCAD/ Sketchup (for design candidates)
• Hands-on experience with installation & commissioning (for execution candidates)
• Strong problem-solving & coordination abilities
• Familiarity with electrical safety and QA/QC standards

Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in solar EPC
• Candidates with experience in both design & execution will be prioritized
