Design Manager

Overview

Water projects and designs. Contract role PAYG or ABN holders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and approval processes for large-scale water and dam projects, including surface and groundwater systems.
• Manage design and engineering partners and ensure compliance with design, safety, environmental, and dam-safety standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, risk assessments, and quality plans.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement across internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
• Monitor project performance, report progress, and implement improvements to safety, cost, and schedule outcomes.
• Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture across design, engineering, and project delivery functions.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and sustainability standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
