Key Responsibilities
Review design documents (DBR) and ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
Design and review plumbing & firefighting systems for commercial buildings
Perform hydraulic, pipe sizing, and invert level calculations
Ensure compliance with NBC 2016, BIS, UPCI, and local codes
Integrate sustainable and energy-efficient practices in system design
Select appropriate materials and equipment within project budgets
Coordinate with architects, MEP, and structural teams
Provide technical support during construction and review shop drawings
Manage statutory approvals as per codes and project requirements
Use tools like Auto CAD, Revit, MS Excel/Word/Power Point
Update standards in line with green building and regulatory codes
