Design Manager

Design Manager- This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Lead and manage design activities in accordance with UGL's Design Management Standard. Develop concept designs for tenders and detailed designs for projects. Oversee design coordination across internal teams and external consultants. Ensure designs meet all safety, environmental, construction and operational requirements. Support estimating, procurement, construction and commissioning teams. Manage design schedules, budgets, risks, reviews, verifications and certifications. Liaise with clients, authorities, suppliers and subcontractors. Conduct constructability and operability reviews and lead risk workshops Prepare design management plans, filing systems and close out reports.
