Design Manager

Overview

The Design Manager is responsible for the successful implementation of assigned projects, with focus on the time, cost, and quality components of the Design of the project. They ensure that the design of the projects aligns with the company’s standards and project goals. They are expected to coordinate with consultants, contractors, and inter-departmental representatives to arrive at the most efficient design solution possible. They are also expected to understand the how the design affects the financials of the project, and should be able to formulate solutions to achieve optimum outcomes. They also have to ensure that the design adheres to national and local codes, and up-to-par with international standard.
