Tilbury Douglas is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the design function across major projects (£10m+) within the water, process and engineering sectors .

As a key member of the senior project team, you’ll manage design from tender stage through construction delivery — driving innovation, buildability, value engineering and strong stakeholder collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams from bid through site delivery
• Develop innovative, cost-effective and buildable design solutions
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships across project stages
• Drive BIM and digital design coordination
• Oversee design programmes, deliverables and stage gate reviews
• Ensure CDM compliance, safety, quality and value engineering
