Design Release Engineer - Intermediate

The Brake Interface Components Design Release Engineer is responsible for the design and validation of brake tubes, brake hoses, and wheel speed sensors. The position will include all aspects of component design to ensure all system and vehicle level functional objectives are met. Job responsibilities include but not limited to: managing the release of the components, bill of material, CAD drawings, design verification plan, physical testing, management of suppliers, issuing change notices, vehicle build support, issue resolution, and PPAP. The engineer will:Interface with Vehicle Engineering, suppliers, Purchasing, Quality and Assembly Plants. Manage product performance to meet functional, cost and weight 's and DFMEA'sSupport AQP, PSO, product launch and ongoing maintenance of carryover , brake hoses, and wheel speed sensors, considering functional, safety, reliability, and performance requirements.
