Design Release Engineer

We are looking for a Design Release Engineer to join our Interior Engineering team and support new vehicle programs. This role focuses on seat trim covers , acoustic components , and interior soft trim development, validation, and release. You will be the engineering point of contact for all soft trim components and work closely with manufacturing, suppliers, quality, and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and release soft trim components : seat covers, dash inner/outer acoustics, carpets, load floors, cover shades, and other interior trim parts.
• Ensure compliance with performance, durability, functional and aesthetic requirements .
• Lead and maintain DVP&R and DFMEA documents.
• Plan and coordinate validation tests (laboratory, vehicle bucks, prototype builds).
