Job Title: Design Release Engineer - WiringJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Design Release Engineer specializing in wiring to join our team. You will be responsible for designing under and/or upper body wiring harnesses that meet program cost, weight, quality, performance, and timing targets. This role requires a commitment to Robustness Engineering Disciplines and ensuring compliance with requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Design wiring harnesses to comply with program targets for cost, weight, quality, and timing.
  • Ensure compliance with Robustness Engineering Disciplines, including quality history, P-Diagram, and FMEA.
  • Apply Six Sigma and 8D methodologies.
  • Lead Technical Design Reviews (TDRs).
  • Release parts in FEDEBOM and WERS throughout the product lifecycle and support Change Control Meetings.
  • Audit and update Bill of Material (BOM) for prototype builds and maintain it post Job 1.
