Designer Piping System

Your Job

You will be responsible for the Piping Work for Process Piping, Offsite Piping, Piping Skid, Piping Support Design etc. 3D Modelling, MTO Extraction, General Assembly drawings and Fabrication / ISO drawings in Cadworx/Plant 3D software. You will ensure that the 3D model and drawings meet or exceed the Customer / Fabrication requirement and with desired quality output within the required budget and schedule. Should be able to work in a dynamic situation supporting different product groups and in other tools like Advance Steel / Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD / Office 365. Must have good communication skills and be flexible to work in shifts or on Saturdays as desired by Management time to time.

Our Team

You will be part of the Piping System lead by one of our experienced Managers to execute all Design drafting related activities for Vapor packages (Vapor Recovery Unit, Vapor Combustion Units, Flare Gas Recovery System) and Ground Flare systems. 

What You Will Do

·Designing / Drafting for Piping System-VRU/VCU/TO & Ground Flare product which includes preparation of 3D model, MTO extraction, General Assembly Drawings and Fabrication / ISO Drawings of Process Piping, off-site piping, Piping Skids, Piping supports etc. by using Cadworx/ Plant 3D Software. 

·Understanding Customer Specifications and Project Requirements from Lead Designers / Project Engineers to build 3D Model, MTO extraction, Assembly drawings and Shop/ISO Drawings in Cadworx/ Plant 3D Software.

·Working with other functions like Process, Controls and structural to ensure equipment is designed to meet PO requirements.

·Preparing Bill of materials for Fabrication Drawings suitable for ERP system or otherwise. 

·Analyze the work content and estimation of drafting hours required to complete the task with available inputs.

·Working with budgets and should have good economic thinking.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

·Minimum 6 to 8 years’ experience in reputed Company / Engineering Consulting firm for designing Piping Work by using 3D software.

·Hands on experience in 3D modeling and extraction of MTO/Assembly/detail/ISO drawings of Piping work.

·3D modeling software Experience with Cadworx or Plant 3D.- mandate

·Quality focused and self-motivated for on job learning.

·Diploma / ITI-NCVT in Mechanical, Fabrication or Production.

·Good written and verbal communication skills.
