ABOUT THE JOB: At Merit Kitchens, the Designer & Sales Consultant is the first point of contact for retail and commercial clients (in person and virtually) and is responsible for driving revenue through consultative sales and cabinetry design. This role requires prior cabinetry / made-to-order kitchen design experience. You will translate client needs into functional designs using Merit cabinetry and prepare detailed plans, renderings, quotes, and project documentation from initial concept through order and installation support.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with homeowners, builders, and walk-in clients to generate and close new business.
  • Gather project requirements (scope, layout, finishes, style, budget, timelines).
  • Produce cabinetry designs and revisions using 2020 Design (or similar).
  • Prepare accurate quotes, plans, renderings, and contract/order documentation.
