Job Description

Summary

Enerflex desires a designer with a drafting background in P&IDs and the detailing of fabrication drawings. Should have experience in ISA 5.1 P&ID symbology and transforming 3D steel models into 2D pdfs showing welding/fabrication and Bill of Material (BOM) details. This person will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining the P&IDs throughout the project lifecycle. They will also be involved in making 3D computer generated (CAD) drawings of parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies from engineering sketches, or project designer instructions.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for the ownership of P&IDs while working with project engineers as an internal customers.

  • In charge of maintaining synchronization of P&ID drawings and P&ID BOM items through a tag sync process.
