Contract IT Support Engineer - Sheffield (On-Site)
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer for a contract role based in Sheffield. This position combines 2nd Line Support within a Windows environment alongside a large-scale hardware refresh project, offering a varied and hands-on opportunity for a skilled IT professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 2nd line technical support for users across a Windows-based environment
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Build, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops as part of a hardware refresh
Perform device imaging, data migration, and user profile setup
Support Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory
Manage tickets efficiently, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution
Work closely with project and IT teams to ensure smooth rollout of refreshed hardware
