Job Description

The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for the construction, testing, installation, operations, and facility management of client platforms to meet agreed business needs and service levels. This includes troubleshooting issues, monitoring service levels, managing system configurations, and contributing to the implementation and upgrade of client platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot client platform-related problems and provide timely resolution.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, investigate, and offer temporary or permanent solutions for escalated issues.
  • Provide timely status updates to relevant stakeholders regarding incident resolution.
  • Handle service requests related to client platforms, ensuring that all requests are addressed and resolved.
  • Monitor agreed service levels and document system configurations. Provide regular reports to relevant parties.
