Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer  with over 3 years of experience to provide first and second-level technical support to end-users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, supporting collaboration tools, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 and L2 support  for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications .
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues  in person, remotely, or via phone/email.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights  in Active Directory.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications  (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory  with proper documentation.
  • Assist in employee onboarding/offboarding  including device setup and recovery.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher-level teams or vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and protocols .
  • Participate in IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts .

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in desktop/end-user support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 .
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades .
  • Familiarity with remote support tools  and ticketing systems.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Exposure to ITIL practices and documentation.
  • Experience in supporting mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
