Despatch Operative

Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Lye. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable hours and long-term prospects for the right candidate.

Hours of Work: 

 Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
 Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
 40 hours per week

 Pay Rate:

 £12.21 per hour

 Key Responsibilities:

 Picking, packing, and preparing goods for despatch
 Operating overhead crane and forklift
 Using chop saws and nail guns to prepare and secure products for shipment
 Ensuring orders are correctly labelled, packaged, and ready for collection
 Completing general data input and despatch documentation accurately
 Loading and unloading goods safely
 Liaising with internal departments to resolve despatch or delivery queries
 Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised despatch area
