Detector Manufacturing Engineer

Mirion Technologies is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Detector Engineer to provide development and technical support including continuous improvement of all manufacturing steps and processes in the production of Germanium detector products at the Meriden facility. The role will include providing technical lead in the industrialization phase of a new product development. As part of the roles, the candidate will provide support for troubleshooting manufacturing equipment when they break down and learn to implement solutions to their common operational failures. Optimize the existing processes and consider implementing automation approach with instrumentation and hardware upgrade where possible. It is preferred that the candidate has experience with vacuum systems, cryogenic systems, surface chemistry, and other semiconductor manufacturing processes/systems.
