Shopify’s Dev Degree program offers a unique work-integrated learning experience combining a Computer Science degree with hands‑on software engineering work.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Complete the Developer Skills Training Path in the first year, learning tools, technologies, and methodologies to prepare for an Engineering team role.
• Attend one of Shopify’s partner universities while progressing through the program.
• Join an Engineering team and contribute to building products at Shopify after 4 months (York University) or 8 months (Carleton University) on the training path.
• Balance work at Shopify, university studies, and personal priorities throughout the program.
