**Job Description: Lead Developer – Oracle Service Bus (OSB) & SOA Suite**
**Role Summary**
We are looking for a **Lead Developer** with strong hands‑on expertise in **Oracle Service Bus (OSB)** and **Oracle SOA Suite** to support integration design and development activities for a customer development project. The role involves working closely with architects, customer technical teams, and other developers to build, enhance, and optimize integration services across multiple applications and platforms.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Develop and enhance integrations using **Oracle Service Bus (OSB 12c)** and **SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, Adapters)** .
+ Build proxy/business services, pipelines, orchestration flows, transformations (XQuery/XSLT), and adapter connections (DB, JMS, FTP, REST/SOAP).
+ Implement integration patterns: routing, message enrichment, service virtualization, async/sync flows, exception handling.
+ Perform unit testing, debugging, and optimization of OSB/SOA composites.
+ Collaborate with architects to interpret design specifications and convert them into high‑quality integration components.
+ Work with customer teams for deployments, configuration updates, and environment validation.
+ Maintain code quality, standards, and reusable components across integration projects.
+ Provide documentation of services, mappings, and interface contracts.
**Required Skills**
+ Strong hands‑on development experience in **OSB 11g/12c** and **SOA Suite 12c** .
+ Expertise with XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP/REST, XSLT, XQuery, and schema validation.
+ Good understanding of JMS, JDBC, DB adapters, file/FTP/SFTP adapters, and integration connectors.
+ Experience with error handling, fault policies, and enterprise integration patterns.
+ Familiarity with WebLogic basics (deployments, logs, troubleshooting).
+ Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
+ Ability to work in an on‑site, collaborative customer environment.
**Nice to Have**
+ Exposure to WLST scripts, Maven build, Jenkins/Azure DevOps CI/CD.
+ Knowledge of Oracle API Platform / OCI Integration Cloud (optional).
+ Experience working in agile development environments.
