**Job Summary**

The Unified Communications Engineering team is looking for an enthusiastic Devops engineer with a passion for building and optimizing secure, reliable, scalable, and robust applications.  This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys designing and building scalable automation frameworks, improving CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging Ansible-driven automation to enable reliable, continuous deployment.
You will work closely with development, operations, and deployment teams to enhance infrastructure reliability, streamline delivery pipelines, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability, with a strong focus on continuous deployment.
+ Develop, maintain, and version-control automation code and system documentation to ensure transparency, traceability, and operational readiness.
+ Define and maintain server installation and configuration standards across operating systems, hardware, software, and version levels.
+ Design, deploy, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Ansible and modern build and deployment tools.
+ Collaborate with operations and deployment teams to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
+ Deploy, maintain, and enhance system and application monitoring to ensure optimal performance and availability.
+ Support and mentor peers by sharing knowledge of current and emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in a DevOps.
+ Familiarity with deployment and packaging toolsets including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based platforms.
+ Strong experience developing Ansible automation for configuration management and deployment workflows.
+ Experience with CI and build tools such as GitHub, Concourse, or Jenkins.
+ Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Shell Script, or similar.

**Nice to Have**

+ Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or customer-facing platforms.
+ Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and DevSecOps practices.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills across application, system, and infrastructure layers.

**Core Responsibilities**

+ Analyzes and determines integration needs.
+ Evaluates and plans software designs, test results and technical manuals.
+ Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
+ Programs new software, web applications and supports new applications under development and the customization of current applications.
+ Edits and reviews technical requirements documentation.
+ Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
+ Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
+ Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.
+ Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, project management skills.
+ Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
+ Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
