Development Engineer - Body Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and validate automotive body systems and components (BIW, closures, trim, exterior, and interior parts).
• Ensure compliance with safety, durability, weight, cost, and manufacturing feasibility targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CAE, NVH, safety, styling, manufacturing, and suppliers) to deliver engineering solutions.
• Conduct DFMEA, DFA/DFM, and tolerance stack-up analysis for body components.
• Support prototype build, testing, and validation activities, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work on CAD modeling, drawing release, and PLM systems for part development.
• Benchmark competitor vehicles and implement innovative solutions to improve performance and cost efficiency.
