Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to take ownership of project lifecycles within our Perth portfolio. Our Development Managers are the driving force behind our vision—responsible for implementing project strategy, achieving commercial objectives, and ensuring the seamless delivery of high‑quality residential outcomes. This is a pivotal role for a property professional with a proven track record to join our highly successful Development Team in Perth, WA. You will manage complex projects from inception through to completion, ensuring Peet’s reputation for excellence is maintained at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead the planning, design, and delivery of construction (civil and landscape), ensuring the timely delivery of parks, open spaces, and infrastructure.
• Financial & Commercial Management: Drive project profitability by managing complex budgets, reviewing and approving major payments, and maintaining rigorous financial oversight.
• Strategic Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and consultants, to ensure projects align with market positioning and financial parameters.
• Market Intelligence: Leverage deep industry knowledge to analyse market conditions, influence investment decisions, and mitigate project risks related to construction costs and realisations.
• Reporting & Governance: Oversee the preparation of comprehensive project reporting and documentation for executive‑level review, ensuring all milestones meet ASX‑listed compliance standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a seasoned property professional who thrives on accountability and collaboration.

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Commerce, Planning, Engineering, or Project Management.
• Significant experience in a Development Management role, preferably within the residential sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of project feasibilities and the Perth property market.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex consultant groups.
• A "tenacious and creative" mindset, with a commitment to delivering sustainable, human‑centred communities.
