The Opportunity

We have an exciting maternity leave replacement opportunity for a Development Manager - Philanthropic Fundraising to join our growing Climateworks team! Reporting into the Philanthropy Lead, you will work autonomously to develop and implement comprehensive major donor engagement plans for Climateworks Centre, whilst ensuring that they are aligned with University objectives. This role will take accountability for delivering strategic fundraising programs for Climateworks Centre with a specific focus on International and global development, engagement and Major gifts.


We are looking for an individual who has previously demonstrated their ability to:

  • Identify and initiate relationships with major donors, and translate those relationships into major gifts

  • Think both strategically and tactically about the relationship between potential major philanthropic donors and fundraising goals
