DevEx Engineer – SASE Core Networking

Join Check Point India R&D to accelerate developer velocity for teams building groundbreaking SASE Core Networking products. We're seeking a hands-on engineer with 5+ years in DevOps/Developer Experience to own tooling, automation, and workflows that eliminate friction and boost efficiency in our high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Local Dev Environment Ownership: Design and maintain VM-based local setups for core networking components; fix stability issues, speed up testing, and ensure quick onboarding/debugging.
• CI/CD & Infra Support: Handle Terraform, Kubernetes configs, CI jobs, pipelines, and release automation tailored for SASE developers.
• Repo Hygiene: Automate Go/library upgrades, dependency management, and breakage detection across SASE repositories.
• AI-Driven Tooling: Build AI tools for SDDs, test plans, code insights, and integrate LLM agents to enhance productivity.
• Platform Innovation: Develop SDKs, CLIs, templates, docs, and sample apps; measure and iterate on developer metrics.
• Security Automation: Embed scanning, secret management, and compliance into pipelines.
• Collaboration: Partner with R&D/product teams, evangelize practices, and drive cross-team solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or developer tooling.
• Expertise in CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab), Docker/Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), and Go/Python scripting.
• Proven track record owning dev environments/tools and reducing friction.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multi-team collaboration skills.

• Networking/security (SASE) experience.
• Monorepos, distributed builds, AI coding assistants, or open-source contributions.
