Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in Linux systems, network infrastructure, and virtualisation to join our team.

This role is hands-on and focuses on physical server deployments, network architecture, and the management of virtualised environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with hardware, network equipment, and hypervisors in production settings.

Key responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain physical Linux servers and related hardware components
  • Design, implement, and manage on-premises and remote network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs
  • Build and administer virtualisation platforms (KVM, Proxmox, VMware, LXD) to support scalable compute clusters
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using scripting and tools such as Ansible and Terraform
