Role Overview
•Contract role supporting the Data Platform team supports large multi-tenant Airflow Deployment with over 8k pipelines
• This role is supporting more tenured engineers with operational tasks supporting cross functional teams including infrastructure, AWS cloud, database, and data engineering teams.
• Work primarily covers operations-heavy responsibilities early on, eventually transitioning to more development-oriented tasks once fully onboarded.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support the enterprise Airflow platform
• Debugging and troubleshooting ETL pipelines.
• Platform operations, scripting, automation.
• Handling Slack channel requests (“Niagara – Platform”), including:
o User support
o Documentation chatbot gaps
o Tasks automation
• Supporting the company’s risk calculation business processes.
• Maintaining and scaling the large-scale Airflow environment.
