The DevOps Engineer role is responsible for streamlining the software development and deployment lifecycles by automating processes, managing infrastructure, and fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. They build and manage scalable, high‑availability systems, optimize performance, reduce costs, enhance security, and mentor junior engineers. They also play a key role in selecting tools, designing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.
