Role : DevOps Engineer

Salary : £70,000 to £80,000 basic plus benefits

We have a great opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to be the sole DevOps lead to set strategy and own day‑to‑day DevOps for the clients platform and AWS estate, with a heavy focus on GitLab CI/CD . Works closely with the Software Engineering team to streamline delivery and maintain secure, reliable infrastructure.

Must‑haves

• GitLab CI/CD : design, operate, and optimise pipelines; manage runners (EC2).
• AWS (hands‑on): EC2, IAM, VPC, networking, scaling, security baselines, cost awareness.
• CloudFormation (not Terraform): IaC patterns, modular stacks, change sets, drift detection.
