We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Global DevOps Group at the India Development Center. Our team is responsible for building the next generation of DevOps infrastructure while ensuring the reliability, scalability, and high availability of our operational environments.

In this role, you will help enable the R&D organization by providing robust CI/CD tools, infrastructure, and automation solutions. You will collaborate closely with global engineering teams to design, implement, and maintain on‑premises and cloud‑based platforms.

As part of the Strategic DevOps Group, you will contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of key DevOps initiatives that shape our long-term technology roadmap. Your work will involve managing infrastructure, supporting code deployment workflows, and driving improvements across our DevOps ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Experienced in DevOps, specializing in CICD, monitoring, branching, release processes, and managing environments.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving DevOps-related issues and system problems.
  • : Facilitating collaboration between development, operations, and other teams is crucial in the DevOps practices. You should encourage open communication, foster strong relationships, and promote cross-functional teamwork.
  • : Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines is a core responsibility of a DevOps Engineer. This involves automating the build, testing, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and error-free software delivery.
  • : You should be well-versed in infrastructure management, cloud platforms, and relevant DevOps tools. This includes managing infrastructure as code, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management tools, Build tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps etc)
  • : Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the team's DevOps capabilities. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains.
  • : Collaborate with global stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and operations teams, to understand their needs, align priorities, and ensure smooth coordination and delivery of DevOps initiatives. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating effective communication and understanding
  • Must‑Have Skills

  • Bash/Python scripting expertise for automation of operational workflows.
  • Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / Jenkins / GitHub / GitLab / AWS).
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes (cluster operations, deployments, Helm charts, container lifecycle).
  • Strong Linux OS administration experience, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Good‑to‑Have Skills

  • Software development skills in Python or Java for tooling and automation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Working experience in Agile practices.
  • Exposure to monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Experience with Artifactory, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps repos, or similar tools.
  • Experience managing high‑availability, large‑scale systems.
  • Experience with Kubeadm, RKE2, or Kubeflow for cluster management. 
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters-Degree of Engineering in CS or IT or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of overall experience in the software industry, with strong exposure to development, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Bash/Python scripting, with the ability to build robust automation, tooling, and system-level scripts.
  • 2+ years of experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments, including pipeline development, automation, and integration with modern DevOps toolchains.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work and coordinate between multiple teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
