    • Role: DevOps Engineer

    BETSOL is looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer. This is a hands-on position requiring good technical foundations, ability to learn quickly, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work together with development team to advise/design/define better scalability, reliability, and CI/CD mechanism.
  • Work towards development of new features and enhancements.
  • Deploy new software to clusters in GKE.
  • Monitor the application and troubleshoot the issues 24x7.
  • Perform basic sanity testing on infrastructure upgrades
  • Screen the issues and open ticket to developers in case there are bugs
  • Enter bugs to Engineering on any infrastructure issues.
  • Keep status and change logs for any work.
  • Working in Night Shifts

    • Primary Skills required:

  • Understanding of GCP. Work experience in Google Cloud Console
  • Experience with GKE – Work experience in Deploying GKE clusters and understanding various deployment processes.
  • Experience in Application support and troubleshooting - Monitoring and troubleshooting the issues.
  • Experience Writing Cloud Function & Lambda – Experience in writing Server less functions. Should be able to write the code for the server less functions.
  • Experience with Jenkins or any other CI/CD tool
  • Basic Knowledge in Python

    • Secondary Skills required:

  • Stack driver or any Monitoring Tool Experience – Monitoring and Logging service from Google.
  • Mongo DB cluster creation
  • Redis Atlas
  • Knowledge with Node.Js or Java
  • Knowledge with Terraform and Ansible

    • Soft skills required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Able to preempt, identify and resolve problems that are non-routine or lacking in definition
  • Ability to define, implement and work to a schedule.
  • Good time management skills.
