Role: Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage application systems, streamline deployment processes, and ensure high availability, performance, and security across our platforms. You will work closely with product, software, and data engineering teams to modernize infrastructure, improve pipelines, and maintain robust cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, maintain, and optimise tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure.
  • Modernise end-to-end ETL and real-time streaming pipelines; introduce relevant technologies and automation.
  • Work extensively on AWS with strong understanding of IaC (Terraform ), cost optimisation, and secure network design.
  • Manage and enhance platform security using security tools and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across SQL, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, APIs (REST/SOAP), and .NET Core services.
  • Support Windows/Linux systems, networking components, firewalls, routing, and webservers.
  • Implement proactive patch management and follow strong change-management/version-control practices.
  • Present complex technical designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software, Network, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a DevOps Engineer role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services .
  • Troubleshooting experience with SQL, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, .NET Core, REST APIs, Lambda, S3, FTP.
  • OS administration experience on Windows & Linux .
  • Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, routing, and webservers.
  • Experience with automation tools like Jenkins and monitoring tools like New Relic .
  • Knowledge of data warehousing tools (Redshift, Athena, OpenSearch, SQL).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and big data technologies.
  • Strong documentation, communication skills, and proactive attitude.

  • Experience with EC2 provisioning, Kubernetes, Docker , and virtualisation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience maintaining large-scale, secure cloud environments.
