change at Worldline, owning changes from dev to prod, by developing a set of scalable and
fault-tolerant microservices that significantly shorten the time to market of our application
features.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

Defining, Building, and Maintaining Processes:

  • Develop and optimize build processes using GitLab CI to ensure continuous integration and deployment.
  • Set up AWS Workspaces to use standardized, virtual desktop environments.
  • Handle Docker container lifecycle management, ensuring efficient creation, deployment, and scaling of application containers.

    • Scripting and Automation:

  • Write and maintain scripts using YAML, Bash, and Python to automate various DevOps tasks.
  • Define and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions for environments using: Ansible for efficient configuration management .
  • Puppet and Terraform for infrastructure automation and configuration management.
  • Investigate metrics gathering , monitoring and alerting activities using tools like PagerDuty , Grafana , and Prometheus.

    • Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Provide on-call support for critical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and fast resolution.
  • Address production issues related to the environment setup, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Handle production issues related to day-to-day transaction flow and collaborating with the development team to ensure smooth system operations.

    • Also have an inclination to Build and maintain efficient and reliable Java code
