DevOps Engineer – eCommerce Platform

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and scale our headless eCommerce
platform on AWS. The role requires deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, Kubernetes,
monitoring, and security.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and manage scalable AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, VPC,
IAM, Lambda).
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or
CloudFormation.
• Manage Docker-based workloads and Kubernetes clusters (EKS preferred).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana,
Datadog.
• Lead incident response, RCA, and performance optimization across environments.
• Enforce cloud security best practices: IAM, networking, certificates, firewall/WAF.
• Support development teams with deployment, debugging, and environment
optimization.
• Optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and Redis for scale and
performance.
• Implement backup, DR, and high-availability architectures.
Required Skills
• 8–10 years in DevOps/SRE roles managing cloud-native, high-traffic platforms.
• Strong AWS expertise + solid Linux/Unix, shell scripting.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible.
• Strong CI/CD experience, Git/Bitbucket.
• Experience with monitoring stacks, security hardening, and cloud networking.
• Proven experience supporting eCommerce or headless API platforms.
Preferred
• Serverless experience (Lambda).
• Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with SaaS monitoring tools and third-party API integrations.
